Mike co-founded Major League Gaming (MLG), the global leader in eSports, in 2002 as the company's CEO and currently serves as President. As president, Mike focuses on strategy, key partnerships, corporate development, oversees all product and technology development and most recently spearheaded the creation of MLG.TV.


MLG operates MLG.tv, the leading broadcast platform for competitive gaming and the global MLG Pro Points Ranking system that serves as the gold standard for the eSports industry. MLG is one of the fastest growing digital networks worldwide with over 1700% growth in MLG.tv viewership from January to June 2014.


Each month, the company reaches 17mm highly-engaged fans across the MLG network via web, mobile, connected TVs and gaming consoles and 6mm via MLG.tv in the US alone (Comscore) making it the definitive property for major advertisers to reach young men.

Since its inception in 2002, MLG has been at the forefront of competitive gaming setting the foundation for the evolving eSports industry. As the longest-running eSports league in North America and the largest cross platform online gaming tournament system with 9 million registered users across the globe, MLG has helped eSports become a global phenomenon.

Prior to founding MLG, Mike was co-founder and co-CEO of Gotham Broadband, an early innovator in the broadband content and delivery industry. In 2010 he founded and was managing director of Legion Capital, an early stage venture fund and incubator for digital media startups in New York City. Mike has been a member of the Advisory Board of the NFTE New York Metro region since 2011. He holds a B.S. in management from Babson College.
