Shares of Akamai Technologies are at their highest in the past five years. Analysts interpret the convergence of trends: increased Internet speed, mainstream adoption of streaming, concern for the safety of the web and increasing data traffic on mobile sites, all of which are expressed in good economic results from this company, which dates back to the beginnings of the Internet, 1998…

These and other issues surfaced in conversation with Francisco Arnau, which is responsible for Akamai's business in the Iberian Peninsula.

Web experience on mobile will define enterprise mobility*

The Star

March 16, 2015

In order to truly take mobility, productivity and collaboration to the next level, organisations need to invest in bringing more applications to mobile devices. These applications range from sales tracking to customer care, and we’re seeing more organisations aligning themselves to this strategy.

When laying out a mobile strategy, organisations should take an experience first strategy and concentrate on employing a solution that is scalable and can accelerate applications over the public Internet to enhance performance and adoption.
