This document covers Octoshapes support of OS X 10.10 Yosemite support

  1. OS X 10.10 Yosemite
  2. Octoshape streams

With each new year browsers and operating systems evolve to be more user friendly and more secure.  Due to the latest updates in Yosemite you need to make sure that you are running the latest software releases of the Octoshape client, SDK, or IHDP player in order to watch Octoshape streams.

  1. Infinite HD Player (IHDP):
If you use IHDP in your website you need to make sure you are using the correct "infinitehd3/player.swf" link, not a release specific one.  We have an integration article for reference.

  2. JW Player 6 Octoshape media provider:
If you are using the JW Player media provider for Octoshape you need to make sure that you are using the correct link for the plugin which you can get in the JW Player 6 integration article.

  3. Flash SDK:
If you are using a Flash SDK we supplied you to build your own player, you will need to update to the latest OSMF SDK release.

If you have verified your players are up to date and you still can't watch your streams on Yosemite please refer to our troubleshooting guide and open a ticket with us so that we can resolve your issue.
