What is the Akamai Community Support Center?
The Akamai Community Support Center provides the users an alternative approach to searching for answers in the community by providing a direct path for support related content including important topics, top answers and our knowledge base articles. 

The Support Center Objectives:

  • Helps you quickly find answers by using predictive search and providing official answers.
  • Provides you a One-Stop layout that surfaces the common targeted topics and common answers for Akamai products and services. 
  • Gives users a place to easily ask the community a question if an answer doesn't exist.
  • If you don't find your answer, use the link to create a formal service request -OR- access product documentation in our Luna Control Center -OR- contact Akamai support.


How do you access the Support Center? 

Access the Support Center from the main navigation menu by clicking "Support". This provides one-click access to the Support Center.



Do you need to be logged into the community to access the Support Center?  


No, you do not need to be logged into the community, it is available to the public. Some of the content that is surfaced in the support center is for registered members or customers / partners. If you are not logged in, you simply will not view all the available support content. Therefore to achieve the best results please log into the community first.  If you have any questions on how to login please see this document: Akamai Community Login Instructions 



Where do I begin? 


How do I find answers?
At the top of the Support Center, you'll see a search box that you can use to find your issue. After you submit a search, browse through the results. If you see too many results, just use the check boxes to the left to filter out what you don't want. In Support Center search, you can use filters to the left to narrow your results. Narrow by places, type of content, or the state it's in (like Final). Spotlight search focuses on one place or the entire community.





Don't have a question? Simply browse by topic. 


Click on the topic link (e.g. Web Performance) and it will then give you the option to filter on place, category, type and marked as. 



What if I don't find the answer? 



Ask A Question: 
Once you've searched and not found your answer, you should go ahead and create a new question.


Find Product Documentation 

If you are a customer or partner the link will direct you to the Akamai Luna Control Center to search user & developer guides.


Open a Support Case

If you are a customer or partner and have been set up previously with the ability to open a case, click on "Open a Support Case" to create a support request to resolve questions or issues with your Akamai applications and services.

Link to the global support phone numbers to contact an Akamai support resource.
