Some TouchTest operations require different approaches, depending on the application development framework, and to address those different approaches we have provided a table of recommended actions.

The document covers Native and Hybrid apps. This is important because some application architectures are based on XML messaging between the application and the backend servers, and others have a blend of XML and Web technologies, such as HTML and JavaScript.

Because of the differences in application architecture, there is not always a “one size fits all” approach, and the tester must use techniques in TouchTest that leverage the appropriate infrastructure of the application.
