Symptoms

1. Unable to record HTTPS applications

2. When recording HTTPS applications there is a warning message indicating "Your connection is not private"

Diagnosis

1. The SOASTA Certificate Authority may not have been installed or was not installed correctly.

2. Local administrative settings may have restricted the installation of the SOASTA Certificate while installing the SOASTA Conductor.

Solution

To install the SOASTA Certificate Manually please follow these steps:

 

Step 1 - Go the Conductor Install DirectoryStep 2 - Press Install Certificate

Step 2 - Press Install Certificate

Step 3 - Specify where certificate will be installedStep 4 - Choose 'Trusted Root Certificate Authorities'

Step 4 - Choose 'Trusted Root Certificate Authorities'

Step 5 - Select Next

 

Step 6 - Select Finish

Step 7: Select Yes

 

 

Step 8 - The import should say successful.
