Jerry Li a trailing slash makes all the difference - those are two different objects actually. What is the URI you are trying to purge?

I was told to use "/*"
if you use FastPurge and enter this string it will fail, because you need to supply a full URL, e.g.
However, the '*' would be taken literal and not as a wildcard, which is unlikely what you want.
If you use ECCU and select your domain/hostname and then enter '/*' the tool will tell you to refrain from using wildcards, because these are not required. For purging everything under the root, it is proper syntax to enter simply '/'.
