Please see attached image for for what happens when you try install the extension. As you can see the browser recorder gets disabled and Firefox will not let you install it successfully. This is Firefox ver 52 I tried. Please advise.
Hi, we don't support latest Firefox versions with WebUI, I think we are planning to support latest FF version with CT 58 release.
CT 58 has been out for a bit now but it doesn't appear that newer versions of FF are supported. Are there any plans to support FF? As FF is the only way to record it makes it difficult to need to go back to a very old version of FF to record and you can't even play back on the latest versions of FF.
CloudTest Browser Recording Extension in Firefox for WebUI clips is only supported to Firefox 47. If you install the extension in Firefox 42 and down you won't have any issues. And if you want to install it from Firefox 43 to 47, then you need to navigate in Firefox to about:config (in the Adress Bar) and then search for xpinstall.signatures.required and double click it to change it to false. After that change you'll be able to install the CloudTest Firefox WebUI extension. More info in the below link:
The CloudTest extension for Firefox for recording webUI is not supported beyond Firefox 48 at the moment. Please use Firefox 47 or lower and take into account what I said in the above paragraph.
Also, WebUI playback in CloudTest is only supported to Firefox 47 in case you want to playback in Firefox.
