There are so many ways of being contacted, sometimes it can be hard to determine the best way to stay abreast of what's happening. Do you send email, text, Facebook message, push notification, Twitter, leave a voicemail etc?
Personally I like the idea of being informed of things that are of interest to me, see Dating sites or snowboards, so Shomi's idea of notifying people that their service is available without cable subscription makes sense.
It works very simply, people can go to Shomi4everyone.com and retweet the message on the site to be pinged with an alert at the moment the service is available widely.
Now if I could only find a way to filter all the things I'm interested in, that would be a killer app.
