Are there any limitation on the number of calls an API can make?

We are trying to figure out the best way to reconcile our NetStorage billing to be per stream.  The log files will be very complicated for us to track and process, and even worse if we DVR multiple renditions.

I noticed the API has a ‘du’ call but we would need to do this for a lot of streams potentially.  I wanted to make sure Akamai didn’t have a limit on how many times we can call this command so we can poll per stream to get the total NetStorage used for a stream and then we can find the peak, and adding the peaks should related back to our charges.

Most HTTP based APIs have a throttle which is what I wanted to verify with Akamai.

Thank you for the information!
