By default it sends over plain HTTP. Also, is it possible to authenticate on the server if the POST indeed came from akamai (by using some client certificate for example)?
Hi Thiruvalluvan M G,
I have checked documentation and can confirm that this is possible - at least in case you are using advanced metadata code for provisioning the service. However, you would need Akamai Professional Services support then for setting this up.
Not sure if you have that option with the Cloud Monitor product, though.
To make it clear, the following configuration delivers the receipts every minute or if larger than 32k to 'your-server' over HTTP port 80. My question is if it is possible to use HTTPS on port 443 instead. The secondary question is if it is possible to use client side authentication so that the server can be sure that it indeed came from Akamai.
