Data Collection from Third-Party Analytics

As of mPulse 57, the system can collect data from third-party analytics, also known as Big Beacon, that are installed on web pages along side with mPulse.

mPulse collects this data, such as session IDs of vendors and campaign IDs, for use in DSWB.



Minimum Version Requirements



mPulse collects data from the following third-party analytics:

  • Google Analytics
  • Adobe Analytics (formerly Omniture Sitecatalyst)
  • IBM Digital Analytics (formerly Coremetrics)

Third-Party Analytics Settings

As of mPulse 57.0.17, you have the new Collect Third-Party Analytics IDs checkbox, which allows you to collect data from third-party analytics. You can also choose whether you want to collect client IDs. 

It can now be configured from the app dialog, and no longer requires site customization.

1. Go to Central > Apps.

2. Double-click on your app to open the advanced configuration screen.

3. Select the Beacons tab.

4. Click the Collect Third-Party Analytics IDs checkbox.
