As of mPulse 57, your synthetic beacons can be seen in mPulse.
For information about user-agents strings that we match, see User Agents Strings.
This new feature offers the following benefits:
- Compare synthetic beacons versus RUM beacons to validate your synthetic results, and quickly eliminate false positives.
- Include synthetic beacons in the filters.
- Provide the ability to block bots with too many beacons.
How to Include Synthetic Beacons
Go to Central > Apps.
Double-click the app that you want to include synthetic beacons.
Select the Beacons tab.
You have two options:
Include Synthetic Monitoring Beacons
Allows you to keep beacons for synthetic monitoring, such as WebPagetest.
Include Bot Beacons
Allows you to keep beacons for web crawlers, such as Googlebot.
View Synthetic Beacons
On your dashboard, the synthetic beacons will show as a browser family, and you can filter the browser family.
