The Recording Editor includes a Specify Binary Encoding toolbar icon that can be used to specify binary recording types for the current recording. When you click Specify Binary Encoding, the Binary Decoding Type dialog box appears.
Select from among the current options in the drop-down. Once the selection is made, CloudTest will set a metadata flag for each message in the recording that CloudTest will use for decoding and encoding the message and its response(s).
Alternately, set or discard binary encoding on one or more messages by first selecting the message(s) in the message flow above, and then check the Decode this binary encoded message using.
When a binary decode option is selected, if the message is not successfully decoded, a message is posted as shown to the right.
In the remaining Detail views (below Summary), Request information for the selection is presented in the left column, while Response information is presented on the right.
