Analytics Segmented by Ramp allow you to take system generated annotations and compare them in the Baseline Comparison Dashboard.
Annotations are specific segments of time automatically generated by a change in virtual users. You can compare the same annotation periods in multiple results in the Baseline Comparison Dashboard.
System Generated Annotations
The annotations below are the specific time-relative segments available. Please visit the SOASTA Annotation help page for more details.
SteadyState: Ranged annotation indicating a period of running at a fixed number of users. These annotations are created when all of the CloudTest servers in a Composition have reached their full virtual user state, either from a planned ramp or from a dynamic ramp. They are ranged annotations that denote the time from reaching the full ramp until another ramp occurs or the test ends.
RampChange: Ranged annotation indicating a period of changing virtual users (VU) count. These annotations are created when any of the CloudTest servers have increased or decreased the number of virtual users running a composition, either from a planned ramp or from a dynamic ramp. They are ranged annotations that denote the time from starting the change in virtual users until the virtual user change is completed, or the test ends.
