This feature is a security enhancement that allows you to upload and deploy your own trusted SSL certificate with the CloudTest Manager (CTM), thus avoiding certificate errors.

Note: This feature is only applicable to CTM.

  1. First, you will need to create a new certificate object in CTM. Click Certificates, under CloudTest Manager in the Central tab, then click the create button.

  1. Next, you will need to provide two (three is optional) files: the Certificate (.crt), the Private Key (.key), and a CA root certificate file (if you have one).

Click OK when you're finished uploading the appropriate files.

  1. Go to your test environment by clicking Environment, under CloudTest Manager in the Central tab, and select the certificate you just created.

Note: Access Control Lists (Permissions) are enabled by default. If you want other users to deploy your environment, you must add them to the permissions list by right-clicking the certificate and selecting permissions.

  1. Last, if you want to edit the certificate, double-click the certificate in the menu under CloudTest Manager in the Central tab, and then click Re-upload certificate data.

Click OK when you're finished uploading certificate data.
